Pregnancy Center Resources
Every day, Care Net and Heartbeat International affiliated pregnancy centers around the country and world empower women and men to choose abundant life for their families by providing free, Christ-centered support and services. In 2020, Care Net’s network of more than 1,100 affiliates nationwide provided services to 456,588 clients. Heart Beat International has almost 3,000 affiliates around the world, serving over 5 million clients per year with a similar mission.
Pregnancy Centers are local, nonprofit organizations that provide compassionate support to women and men faced with difficult pregnancy decisions. Care Net is dedicated to partnering with independent pregnancy centers and providing them with the resources they need to serve their local communities.
Services provided by centers may include:
- Pregnancy decision coaching by trained advocates
- Free pregnancy tests
- Information about pregnancy options
- Material resources such as clothes, diapers etc.
- Post-decision support (including parenting education and abortion recovery groups)
Some centers offer specific medical services, including:
- Consultation with a licensed medical professional
- Limited ultrasound for pregnancy confirmation
- Testing for sexually transmitted infections and diseases
